Dräger Gas Detector Tubes are pre-calibrated colorimetric tubes designed for quick, reliable on-site measurement of toxic gases, vapors, and other hazardous substances. With a wide range covering 500+ gases and vapors, Dräger-Tubes provide direct-reading results in seconds to minutes and are suitable for workplace, industrial hygiene, leak detection, and confined-space applications. Product Description Dräger-Tubes are compact, ready-to-use gas detection tubes containing a chemical reagent that changes colour when exposed to a specific target gas or vapor. Air is drawn through the tube using a compatible Dräger accuro manual pump or Dräger X-act 5000 automatic pump, and the resulting colour change is read directly against the calibrated scale on the tube. Dräger offers more than 200 different short-term tubes covering measurements for over 500 gases and vapors. Depending on the tube and application, measurement times range from approximately 5 seconds to 15 minutes, with many measurements completed in less than four minutes. The tubes are factory calibrated and designed as a measurement system together with the appropriate Dräger pump. Their portability, simple operation, direct-reading scale and absence of batteries make them particularly useful where occasional or spot measurements are required.
